This is definitely one of H&M’s more anticipated collections so far, and Margiela fans will most certainly be pleased by the lineup. Essentially, the collection is sort of like a re-do of the iconic Margiela pieces from over the last 23 years, with every item having a tag indicating which season it derived.
Yes, and I can’t wait: Margiela designs with H&M price points.
The pieces focus on tailored shapes with volume. “Masculine shapes adjusted to frame the female body,” according to a press release. There will be oversized garments and ambiguity across the board and plenty of options for my favorites! (I’m so far a huge fan of the shearling coat and any of the oversized blazers.)
