Collaboration Craze: Jason Wu for Target

This past Tuesday, the 10th, after being teased by released look after released look for around a week (and even longer by teasing friends’ word of mouth), it finally arrived: the Jason Wu for Target collection.

Adding to what has become a rather long list of designer-retailer collaborations to hit the stores recently, Jason Wu has definitely started the 2012 cycle of collaborations off right — it’s actually [tastefully] wearable, unlike the Versace for H&M collection. As we’ve mentioned before, we love it. Why? It’s trendy, yet has staying power. It’s feminine, yet strong and sturdy. It’s classic and chic, yet sophisticated and slightly retro. (And we still think Rachel Berry – a.k.a. Lea Michele — from Glee would look amazing in it.) Plus, best of all, it’s affordable with nothing over $59.99. We’re eyeing… well, everything, but most of all the striped dress (look 12), the cat scarf and tote. What are your must haves?
